„Advancing Critical Zone science“ : Second TERENO OZCAR International Conference

The OZCAR-TERENO international conference, organized between the French network of environmental observatories, OZCAR, and the German network of environmental observatories, TERENO, aimed at preenting the lastest observations and researches on the Critical Zone in ordert o deepen our understanding of the functionning of this thin superficial layer of the Earth where all human activites concentrate.
A set of 17 sessions, rythmed with keynotes, oral as well as poster presentations, will be presented for 3 days. Besides increasing a mutual knowledge between researchers and engineers from both OZCAR and TERENO networks, this conference will be the opportunity for young scientists to present their research works and develop their professional network.
The visit of one of the German TERENO network will be the opportunity to discover a highly instrumented site showing multidisciplinary observations and research on the Critical Zone.
