The purpose of the workshop is to gather physicists, chemists and biophysicists working in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in the Karlsruhe area (鈥渘anovalley鈥�) and the Provence Alpes C么te d鈥橝zur region. The idea is to provide an informal forum for exchange of ideas, discussions of problems and confrontations of new results in competitive fields linked to the central role taken by chemistry in the interdisciplinary field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, like nanochemistry, molecular electronics and photonics, renewable energy, nanomedecine.
