Integrated structural Cell Biology
Écoles d'été et d'hiver franco-allemandes
2014
U Grenoble Alpes - U Regensburg
The school aims at preparing students and young researchers interested by structural biology or more generally biology at the molecular level, to integrated new coming methods or strategies for their future research. The new coming strategies based on interdisciplinary approaches (biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics) aim at understanding the relation between the regulation of gene expression leading to structural assemblies of proteins and their dynamical properties, the forces that dictate protein function and activity, the properties of cells and their interactions in the formation of tissues and organisms. The course has the ambition to prepare participants to become major actors in these breakthroughs, by updating students but also by preparing them to integrate new methods that were not necessarily taught at the level of a master degree, or that are difficult to teach because of interdisciplinarity.
